Warranty Policy
ULEFONE Warranty Policy – Saudi Arabia
At ULEFONE Saudi Arabia, we are committed to providing our customers with a reliable and satisfactory experience. Therefore, eligible ULEFONE devices are covered by a local two-year warranty from the date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Warranty Period
Eligible ULEFONE devices are covered by a two-year (24-month) warranty, starting from the date of purchase shown on the original purchase invoice or proof of purchase.
The warranty covers defects resulting from manufacturing or materials that occur during normal use of the device within the warranty period.
To benefit from the warranty, the product must be held by the original purchaser, and valid proof of purchase must be provided.
2. What Does the Warranty Cover?
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and technical failures in device components that occur during normal use, subject to inspection and confirmation that the fault is covered under the warranty terms.
If a defect covered by the warranty is confirmed, the appropriate solution will be determined following technical inspection and may include:
- Repair of the device at no charge for faults covered under warranty.
- Use of suitable new or refurbished replacement parts during the repair process when required.
- Replacement of the device with the same model or an equivalent product if repair is not possible, subject to the inspection result and warranty policy.
- Any other appropriate remedy in accordance with the condition of the device and applicable consumer rights.
The warranty does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the device. It covers eligible failures resulting from defects in materials or workmanship.
3. What Is Not Covered by the Free Warranty?
The warranty does not cover faults or damage resulting from misuse, accidental damage, or actions caused by the user, including but not limited to:
- Drops, impacts, or breakage caused by use.
- Physical damage or misuse.
- Using the device in a manner inconsistent with operating instructions.
- Tampering with, modifying, opening, or attempting to repair the device through an unauthorized service provider.
- Damage resulting from the use of unsuitable accessories, components, or parts.
- Problems caused by third-party software or applications when the issue is not caused by a defect in the device itself.
- Any other damage determined through technical inspection not to have resulted from a manufacturing defect.
If a fault is not covered under warranty, a paid repair service may be offered after the customer has been informed of the applicable cost and has approved the repair.
4. Water, Dust & Impact Resistance
Certain ULEFONE devices are designed to meet specific standards for resistance to water, dust, and impact, depending on the specifications and ratings of each model.
However, a water-, dust-, or impact-resistance rating does not automatically mean that all damage caused by liquids, drops, or impacts is covered under warranty.
Each case will be technically inspected to determine the cause of the damage and whether it qualifies for warranty coverage.
5. Software & Third-Party Applications
Eligible ULEFONE devices are designed to comply with relevant Android specifications, and many ULEFONE products are certified for Google Mobile Services (GMS).
Certain issues may result from third-party application compatibility, software updates, or services provided by external parties. Such issues are not considered manufacturing defects if it is determined that the source of the problem is third-party software or an application.
If a software-related issue can be resolved through technical support or remote troubleshooting, customers are advised to follow the support team's instructions before sending the device for service.
6. Warranty Service Requirements
When submitting a warranty or maintenance request, the customer must provide the following:
- Proof of purchase or original invoice.
- IMEI number or device serial number.
- A clear deion of the problem or fault.
- Any photographs or videos requested by the support team to assist with diagnosis.
The device may be subject to technical inspection before warranty coverage is approved.
7. Personal Data
Customers are responsible for creating a backup of all data, files, photos, contacts, and personal information stored on the device before submitting it for maintenance or repair.
Customers are also advised to remove personal accounts and information and perform a factory reset when requested by the service center.
ULEFONE Saudi Arabia and the service center are not responsible for the loss of data during inspection, repair, software restoration, or factory reset procedures.
8. Warranty & Maintenance Service Procedure
To request warranty service:
- Contact customer service or the authorized service center.
- Provide proof of purchase, the IMEI or serial number, and details of the fault.
- A service request will be registered, and the customer will receive the necessary instructions.
- The device will be received and inspected by the technical department.
- The technical team will determine whether the fault is covered under warranty.
- If the fault is covered, the device will be repaired or the appropriate action will be taken based on the inspection result.
- Once the service is completed, the device will be returned to the customer in accordance with the applicable service procedures.
9. Spare Parts & Maintenance
Maintenance services, technical support, and spare parts for ULEFONE devices are available within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, subject to the availability of parts for each specific model.
For faults that are not covered under warranty, or for devices whose warranty period has expired, the customer will be responsible for the cost of spare parts and repairs after receiving a quotation and approving the applicable charges.
10. Accessories
Warranty terms and periods for accessories may differ from those applicable to smartphones and tablets.
Certain consumable accessories, such as screen protectors and other items subject to normal wear and tear, may not be covered for the same warranty period as the main device.
uSmart accessories, charging products, and other accessories are handled according to the warranty terms applicable to each individual product.
11. Consumer Rights
This warranty policy is not intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any rights available to consumers under the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
If any provision of this warranty policy conflicts with mandatory consumer rights under Saudi regulations, the applicable statutory provisions shall prevail.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable laws and regulations, the warranty does not cover compensation for indirect or consequential losses resulting from device failure, including loss of data, profits, revenue, or other consequential damages, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
13. Devices Outside the Warranty Period
After the two-year warranty period has expired, maintenance and repair services may remain available, subject to spare-parts availability.
In such cases, the customer will be responsible for the cost of:
- Spare parts.
- Maintenance and repair services.
- Any other applicable service charges, which will be communicated to the customer in advance.
14. General Terms
Each warranty claim is evaluated based on the condition of the device, the cause of the fault, and the results of the technical inspection.
ULEFONE Saudi Arabia reserves the right to update this warranty policy when necessary, provided that such updates comply with the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
